Correction: The article 鈥淪perm aim for the sweet smell of success鈥� (New 杏吧原创, Science, 21 January) cited a paper in Molecular Medicine, vol 1, p 12. This should have been p 130, putting it in the second, not the first issue of the journal.
Also, as pointed out by Jack Barrett of Kingston upon Thames, there was a mistake in the diagram of water molecules on p 2 of Inside Science number 79 (18 February) on spectroscopy. The red arrows on oxygen atoms of the middle and right-hand water molecules were inadvertently transposed.
