Students who daydream their way through lectures will still end up with a
full set of notes if their lecturer uses a system developed in the US.
Computer science professor David Berque at DePauw University in Indiana has
devised a prototype that uses a laser wand to transmit what he writes on a
special 鈥渂lackboard鈥� to a personal computer. The computer then transmits the
notes to PCs at the students鈥� desks. The students can add their own comments
using light pens.
