and thoroughly, is how to split the difference between elitist 鈥渋nternalist鈥� and
woolly 鈥渆xternalist鈥� models of science. While science is a social construct,
reality still carries weight there; better models of the world, be they
political or physical, will eventually find their scientific expression.
