claim to be the 鈥渄efinitive work on bird identification鈥�: it is now the best of
the Australian field guides. Pizzey鈥檚 concise and informative text faces
Knight鈥檚 excellent colour plates, including nearly 800 species. One drawback is
that this book is too heavy and bulky to take into the field. Published by
