The space agency is joining the dot.com goldrush with a partnership that will
market space exploration as entertainment and education. Last week, NASA teamed
up with Dreamtime Holdings, a California company leasing space at NASA鈥檚 Ames
Research Center. The company will supply NASA with high-definition TV equipment
for the shuttle and space station so that ground-based scientists can monitor
experiments in space. Dreamtime will also display both new and archived images
on its 鈥渟tate-of-the-art multimedia portal鈥 on the Web, so you can watch
astronauts at work.
