Taking a picture of yourself is never easy: you don鈥檛 know exactly what the
camera has in the frame, you can鈥檛 control focus or zoom鈥攁nd you have to
rely on a preset timer. But Kodak鈥檚 new camera (EP 977 080) has a
voice-recognition circuit built in. This lets you control zoom, focus, flash and
shooting by voice command. It is fitted with a liquid crystal display you can
swivel, allowing you to see an image of the scene about to be photographed.
After you have told the camera to shoot, there鈥檚 a short built-in delay to
prevent every picture showing you with your mouth open, chatting away to your
camera.
