Exhausted and distracted parents can sometimes forget they鈥檝e left their kids
in a parked car. To jog their memory, engineers at NASA鈥檚 Langley Research
Center in Virginia have developed an alarm that will alert absent-minded parents

signal to a receiver in a key fob whenever the child is in the seat. If the
receiver can鈥檛 pick up the signal, a loud beeper in the fob goes off.
