Holidaymakers will soon be able to email their digital snaps without leaving the beach. Kodak鈥檚 EasyShare-One camera has a small card antenna that searches for the nearest Wi-Fi hotspot, which the photographer can then use to send email. Network operators Orange and T-Mobile have agreed to give Kodak users access to their Wi-Fi hotspots. Access to hotspots is free until the end of the year, and around 鈧�10 per month after that.
A range of computer games featuring uplifting 鈥減atriotic鈥� characters and storylines has been developed by Chinese software maker Shanda Interactive Entertainment. Called Register of Chinese Heroes, the games come with a cast of heroic figures from Chinese history. These include Zheng He, a famous admiral who voyaged to the east coast of Africa 600 years ago.
