Animal rights extremist added to FBI’s ‘most wanted’ list

The FBI has put the arsonist on its most wanted list and is offering a bounty of up to $250,000 for information leading to his arrest

The FBI claims that Daniel Andreas San Diego is 鈥渁rmed and dangerous鈥 and is offering bounties of up to $250,000 for information leading to his arrest. San Diego is wanted for arson attacks in 2003 on two biotechnology companies in California.

The FBI鈥檚 announcement came amid a flurry of activity relating to animal-rights extremism. On 22 April, an estimated 700 researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles, to protest against the rising tide of violence.

鈥淚t was truly inspiring to see so many people come together to demonstrate their commitment,鈥 says UCLA鈥檚 David Jentsch, who uses animals to study schizophrenia. His car was firebombed in March.
