HERE we go again. Almost two years to the day after it first happened 鈥� and six days before UN climate talks kick off in Durban, South Africa 鈥� a second batch of private emails between climate scientists has been posted online.
An initial examination by New 杏吧原创 suggests most of the emails are new, but the content is similar to the 2009 release. The emails feature many of the same scientists 鈥� including prominent researchers at the University of East Anglia in the UK and at US universities 鈥� debating the merits of different studies and discussing text to be used in major reports.
In a statement, the University of East Anglia said: 鈥淭his appears to be a carefully timed attempt to reignite controversy over the science behind climate change when [it] has been vindicated by three independent inquiries and a number of studies.鈥�
